Description
Preservation Solutions’ Leather Cleaner is a gentle surface cleaner that will remove dust, dirt and light stains prior to conditioning. Cleaning is the 1st step in leather care. Leather becomes worn and dull looking because dirt and dust clog the leather’s natural pores. Leather should be cleaned prior to conditioning so dirt is not rubbed into the leather. Your leather will last many years if taken care of properly.
Preservation Solutions’ Leather Cleaner will not change the color of your leather. Use every 3 – 6 weeks to keep your leather dust free and keep the pores clean. Leather Cleaner can be used on all type of leather that is in good condition including aniline leather. Perfect for cleaning automobile seats, furniture, saddles, equestrian tack, clothing, shoes and other leather items.
Note: Not for use on suede or nubuck items.

Directions: It is recommended to test a small, inconspicuous area first. Do not dilute Leather Cleaner. Dampen a soft, lint-free cloth with the Leather Cleaner and gently wipe the surface of the leather. Repeat until the cloth does not show any further dirt. Allow to dry for several hours or overnight. Leather Cleaner will clean the pores and extend the life of the leather.
Coverage: One 8 ounce bottle of Leather Cleaner will clean approximately 2 full-size sofas or 2 – 3 western saddles. The amount needed will depend on how dirty the items are.
To increase the longevity of the leather, apply a leather conditioner to clean leather every 3 to 6 months or as needed. See our list of leather conditioners to determine which one is appropriate for your type and condition of leather. Conditioning will help retain the softness of the leather while keeping it supple and prevent future cracking. Leather is naturally porous and will absorb liquids. It is recommended to clean stains or spills off the leather as soon as they occur.
